Oyo launches digital channel to report coronavirus symptoms

Oyo State Government has launched a digital channel where residents of the state can report if they or anyone close to them are showing suspected symptoms of coronavirus.

According to the state government: “This survey is to help you report your symptoms of suspected coronavirus (COVID-19). It is not intended to diagnose or treat disease. The Health Ministry will reach out to you based on your perceived risk. This survey is intended only for use for people currently in Oyo State.

The state government urged anyone that want to report suspected coronavirus symptoms to log onto http://covid-19.oyostate.gov.ng/ and follow the guidelines.

The government added that the Interactive Voice Response(IVR) number has voice prompts in Yoruba, Ibo, Hausa, English and Pidgin.
