After 3 weeks in isolation Lagos international marathon boss Bukky olopade tests negative to coronavirus

Former Ogun State Commissioner of Youth and Sports, Bukola Olopade has tested negative twice for the coronavirus disease.

Olopade made this known on Wednesday in a video posted on Instagram.

He had announced in March that he tested positive for the disease and checked himself in at the isolation centre to get proper medical care.

“I tested positive some weeks back and I made a video to that effect so that those that I had come in contact with would take the right steps to ensure that they were free of the virus.

“I got a text on Tuesday night informing me that I had tested negative twice and would be discharged soon.”

Olopade urged Nigerians to maintain social distancing, stay clean and healthy.

“Always wash your hands and sanitise. COVID-19 is very real and unpleasant. I don’t wish it on anybody,” he said
