The Jandor Food Bank Initiative have arrived the Lagos Island East Local Council Development Area amidst cheers, joy and excitement. The Jandor Food Bank, an initiative of Team Jandor continued its tour across the 20 Local Governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas of Lagos State.
Currently Lagos is the worst hit by the covid-19 pandemic with 98 cases; FCT- 38, Osun- 20, Oyo- 8, Akwa Ibom- 5, Ogun- 4, Edo- 4, Kaduna- 4, Bauchi- 3, Enugu- 2, Ekiti- 2 and Rivers and Benue States with one case each.
In his quest to help ease the burden of the people as the lockdown enters day 5 of 14, the Lead Visioner of Team Jandor, Mr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran has directed the continuous distribution of materials and food packages across the LGAs and LCDAs in the state.
In Lagos Island East Local Council Development Areas, the coordinator of team, Alhaja Risikatu Shitta-Bey, informed the people that the initiative is from a Lagosian who have always strive to ensure the people of Lagos are happy and given the best of treatment. He confirmed that the initiative is the only existing program by a Private Individual or Group of people in the state with such Magnanimity.
One of the beneficiaries, Mr. Green, said the food bank initiative is a very unique one which is well planned and as well, the delivery is timely. He appreciated lead visioner, Jandor, as he is fondly called. He urged the people of Lagos State to pray and support him.
Full of appreciation, the Chief Imam of Oko Faji District, Alhaji Sodiq Shoaba Lawal, who prayed for Jandor, also described the initiative as laudable, and coming at the appropriate time as a relief to the people.
The Project Manager, Mr. Lawal Akisemoyin, confirmed the success of the program, while he annouced that the date of the next phase will be made known in due course.
