The leaders of Badagry Division, one of the major Divisions in Lagos State after a long search for a worthy son to represent them for Lagos Top seats, both religious, traditional and also the political leaders at the grassroots are joining forces to convince the Lagos Philanthropist, Mr. Abdulazeez Olajide Adediran to represent them. This may not be unconnected to his selfless service across the Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas of Lagos State for several years.
The Chief Imam of Badagry Central Mosque, Sheikh Abdul-Hakeem Uwais Akeusola while addressing the Muslim community present at his residence on Friday, lamented that the people are tired of the deprivation of the division by playing them like a second fiddle for over twenty years. The Islamic Leader, however, told the people to be “thankful to God for blessing the division with a son like Jide”.
Through Jandor foundation led by Adediran, he has sponsored a number of Christians and Muslims to Jerusalem and Hajj respectively, donating to the building and churches across the State.
In his appreciation for the warm reception, Jandor pledged his commitment to continuously put smile on the faces of the people.
Meanwhile, the Group Managing Director of Core Media Group and the Lead Visioner of team Jandor, Mr. Abdulazeez Olajide Adediran has join in the celebration of life and burial his foster father, Late Prince Emmanuel Kosi Ahisu-Akran, popularly called ‘Baba Mushin’.
In a farewell text personally signed by him, Jandor recalled how his foster father was to him and his siblings, impacting “a fragment of the legacy of truth, commitment, perseverance and selflessness.”
Adediran who paid a condolence visit to the Akran of Badagry, De Wheno Aholu Menu, described Baba Mushin as “a special someone I can’t replace”.
He added: “I could remember vividly when you had the course to spank us so hard, you never did but sat us down and gave us the right guidance. All of us will always be indebted to you, encouraging us to not to relent academically even after graduation.
“A special smile, a special face, A special someone I can’t replace, I love you and I always will because you fulfilled a space no one else could fulfill.
“A special fatherly figure like yours is hard to find.”
