Lagos Philanthropist, Jandor takes Food Bank, Start Up Money to Grassroots

The Popular Lagos State Philanthropist and the General Managing Director/Chairman of Core Media Group, Mr. Abdulazeez Olajide Adediran has taken the food bank and the Business Start Up Money initiatives of Jandor Foundation to the grassroots in Lagos State.

Team Jandor, a Non-Governmental Organization that empowers and strengthens the educational, socio-economic and cultural sectors, touching lives of citizens across the 57 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas, visited Ojodu Local Council Development Area.

The Coordinator of Alhaji Ojikutu led team Jandor group in Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mrs. Khairat Ojikutu-Shokoya in her speech, commended the efforts of the Lead Visioner of Team Jandor, Mr. Abdulazeez Olajide Adediran, for his huge investment in the grassroot programmes across the state despite not occupying any political seat but out of his genuine love and kindness for the people of Lagos State and in particular, the lovers of Jandor in Ojodu LCDA.

She added: “Before someone can come out to say I want to have an NGO whereby it will take care of the less privileged, then we have to give kudos to that person. Our dear lead visioner, Mr. Abdulazeez Olajide Adediran is one man that deserves our prayers”.

Represented by the Central Coordinator of Team Jandor, Mrs. Funke Oguntuga, Mr. Abdulazeez Olajide Adediran restated his commitment to help bring succour to the grassroots through laudable programmes such as scholarships, empowerments, food banks and many other initiatives.

Adediran who has embarked on the philanthropic projects for more than ten years, informed the over one hundred beneficiaries of the food bank and the start up money that, there are many phases of the empowerments which will go round the all councils in the state.

Mr. Ganiyu Saheed, who is one of the beneficiaries couldn’t hide his joy over what he described as a real empowerment from an individual who is not a politician.

“Despite voting for several politicians, none of them remembered us after elections, but Jandor who has not held a political post have surpassed their records by showing genuine love to the people”, he added.
