Don't miss:

Bello and The New Opportunity To Serve By Babajide Obafemi

Alot of my respected friends, colleagues, influencers have written so much about this second chance and second coming; as a matter of fact, they have almost written everything on my mind concerning Governor Bello and the new opportunity to serve, to rewrite his name in gold.

Recall that, between 2016 and 2018, I wrote 3 letters advising and also condenming Bello’s style of leadership. I pointed out, how much ill feelings and bad name his followers who will stop at nothing but a fusillade of attacks towards any critic of Bello. I stated, how many of them, including Petra, the former CPS had unfriended me on facebook because of the series of errors in leadership and government that I had pointed out to them.

Like a child of destiny, a second chance has been thrown on your laps freely and expressly so.

Since it is in sink with my thoughts, may I however re-echoe my brother Yunusa Profswill’s latest article advising Bello on what to do and the path to follow again, here it is for your take away.

He, Abdullahi Yunusa Profswill pointed it out that Bello is really not the worst governor to have happened to any state since independence and I totally agree, he also pointed it out, that the governor successfully recruited fighters not loyalist and most of his enemies were courted for him by them, again, I totally agree with this too.

So to sum it up, bad appointtee, break down in communication and hypocritical feedbacks were the bane, during the first term.

Your quickness to appoint and give out portfolio is largely welcome, please create a feedback mechanism so that there will be checks and balances.

Listen to advice, run a rancour free exco, do not begin an unneccesary war with any of your ally, pay attention to those things you promised and please fulfill them.

Lastly, reward whoever is due for rewards, loyalty is not easily gotten and if you have one in your kitty, guide it jealously. Do not allow gossip monger put a crack in-between you and your ardent loyalist.

Congartulations once again to you Gov. Yahaya Adoza Bello, the next one year plus, will determine if we will resume our criticism of you.
