Shina Peller visits the slain Iseyin-born soldier’s family, awards scholarship to his child

Hon. Shina Peller, a member of the House of Representatives from Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency, on Tuesday, 14th January, 2020 paid a condolence visit to the family of the slain Iseyin-born soldier, Ismail Ishola Ojeke, who was killed at warfront alongside his colleagues on January 5, 2020 in Borno State while trying to defend the country and Nigerians.

During the visit, Hon. Peller met one on one with the parents, wife and other family members of the deceased and told them that he shares their pain on the demise of the brave and young soldier.

He seized the opportunity to give them necessary words of encouragement on the loss of their son, adding that the only thing they can do now is to continue to pray for his soul to rest in peace and to take care of the only daughter, Hanat Ogunbisi, that he has left behind.

Similarly, in his own little way of condoling with the family of the deceased, Hon. Peller informed them that the little girl the deceased has left behind will be on his scholarship scheme once she attains the age to be enrolled in school.

It would be recalled that prior to his personal visit to the family of the deceased, Hon. Peller had earlier written a condolence letter to them which was delivered by his aides.

The late Ismail Ishola Ojeke was recruited into the Nigerian Army just last year, 2019 and died last week fighting for his fatherland, Nigeria.
