Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde would be visiting the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomosho, today.
The Governor, who has been in the forefront of moves by the government of Oyo state to secure a sole ownership of the institution, is visiting the school for the first time since he was sworn in on May 29th, 2019.
However, it was gathered that Makinde, during the visitation, will equally hold talks with stakeholders, with a view to finding lasting solutions to the peace of the institution.
It would be recalled that the lecturers of the institution, last week, had embarked on a warning strike to protest the continued indebtedness of Osun state to the university as well as delayed payment of their salaries.
