In a bid that shows readiness to solve the crisis bedeviling the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Governor Gboyega Oyetola yesterday inaugurated 5-man committee represent Osun State to discuss problems confronting the institution.
OYOINSIGHT recalls that Governors
Oyetola and Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, had met on 30th October in Abuja
to find lasting solutions to the problems.
The meeting was said to have been
facilitated by the chairman of the Governing Council of the institution,
Professor Oladapo Afolabi.
The meeting had agreed to set up a 10-man committee to look into the joint ownership and profer lasting solutions.
Members of the committee include Prof.
Oluremi Aina; Mr. Benedict Alabi, Osun deputy governor; Hon. Folorunsho
Oladoyin Bamisayemi, commissioner for education; Hon. Munirudeen Bola
Oyebamiji, finance commissioner and Barr. Femi Akande, attorney general
and justice commissioner.
This newspaper could not however confirm when Oyo would inaugurate its own 5-man committee.
