Our attention has been drawn to the tendentious rumour making the rounds to the effect that former Chairman, Presidential Amnesty Programme, Kingsley Kuku, was arrested and deported from the United States (US) to Ghana on allegation bothering on illegal acquisition of Green Card.

The impression is not only false, it’s an unfortunate falsification of facts. Kingsley Kuku, who is currently studying in the United States, all life long, has a reputation for being law abiding and having a loathing for illegality under any guise.

The specious information, which must be a figment of the imagination of detractors, is seen as an extension of the media trial and political persecution of the unscrupulous men.

We implore members of the public to disregard the news as false as and a vain campaign of calumny against the person and reputation of Mr. Kuku.
