The Alumni Association of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology on Saturday, 4th May, 2019 awarded Hon. Shina Abiola Peller as an Exemplary Ambassador of the association.
The event, which took place at Atlantic Civic Centre, Ring Road, Osogbo in Osun State, witnessed the presence of the Vice Chancellor of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Professor Michael Ologunde and other important personalities, some of whom are members of the LAUTECH Alumni Association.
While delivering his speech at the event, Vice Chancellor Ologunde acknowledged the fact that LAUTECH graduates are doing great in different spheres of life with emphasis on Shina Peller’s emergence as a member-elect of the Federal House of Representatives.
In his speech, Hon. Shina Peller expressed his profound gratitude to the organisers of the event, especially the National President of the LAUTECH Alumni Association, Mr. Solomon Onilede (JP), for finding him worthy to be honoured as an Exemplary Ambassador of the association. He assured them that he will do everything in his capacity to strengthen the association and LAUTECH.
Hon. Shina Abiola Peller, a Chemical Engineering graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, is the first member of the LAUTECH Alumni Association to be elected as a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives. He will be representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency in the 9th Assembly.
