It is not a good time for returning legislators in the Lagos State House of Assembly, especially those who have been eyeing the elevated seat currently occupied by the incumbent speaker of the 8th Legislative Assembly, Rt. Hon Mudashiru Obasa and the Deputy Speaker Hon. Eshinloku Sanni.
This is so, because Bola Tinubu national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and acclaimed political godfather in Lagos, who is renowned for influencing who gets what in Lagos politics have insisted that for the nineth House of Assembly in Lagos, status quo should be maintained.
The implication of that decision is that the incoming administration of Governor-Elect Babajide Sanwo-Olu would be working with the same legislative formation that presided over matters in the state during the administration of the incumbent Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode.
