Ile-Ogbo Day: Ogunkanmi Seeks Support For APC, Promises Good Representation

The All Progressives Congress APC candidate for Ayedire state constituency, Osun state House of Assembly, Hon Gbenga Ogunkanmi has urged the people of the constituency to come out en masse  and cast their votes for APC and its candidates in the coming general elections

Speaking at the 2018  Ile-Ogbo day on Saturday, Ogunkanmi said for the people of Osun west senatorial district and entire  people of Osun to continue to enjoy the dividend of democracy they must come out massively and cast their votes for all the aspirants contesting on the platform of APC.

He insisted that APC remains   the only party that can consistently be responsive to the yearnings of the people,  saying that the party has not failed  its supporters at all levels of government despite array of challenges .

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Rauf Aregbesola said he was  contesting to represent people of  Ayedire at the state assembly in a bid to consolidate on the legacies left behind by the governor whom he  has done tremendously well in the area of infrastructure and human capacity, promising to sponsor bills that would facilitate  development in the constituency.

The former council boss  reiterated his resolve to ensure efficient and qualitative representation with high level of effectiveness, coupled with total transparently if elected .

He also promised to implement programmes that  would boost socio-economic and political life of the people

Ogunkanmi, who hails from Oladunwo compound in Ilegbo assured his constituents that he would sponsor people oriented programmes that will be of benefit to the people of Ayedire constituency.

He however pledged not to betray the confidence reposed in him by the people if given a chance to serve them.

He said his doors would always be open to receive suggestions and contributions for the development of Ayedire constituency.

Speaking on the need for the constituents to always see themselves as one Ogunkanmi said unity was a condition for building a formidable nation, adding that without unity, a country remains politically vulnerable.
