Shina peller wins house of Rep Seat

 

The ray of hope beams deeply today on the people of Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency as Shina Abiola Peller was officially declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the House of Representatives member to represent the constituency in the 9th Assembly.

While officially making the results of the poll known, the INEC returning officer for the constituency explained that the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Shina Peller polled 44, 184 to become the winner, while both PDP and ADC candidates, Oyeshina and Hon. Abiodun Olasupo polled 30, 962 and 11, 144 respectively.

The Returning officer said, “Having met all the requirements and polled the highest number of votes, the APC candidate, Shina Abiola Peller, is hereby declared as the House of Representatives member elect representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency.”

Following the declaration, the whole of the constituency has been thrown into a jubilating mood as people took to the streets drumming, singing and dancing to songs well written in Rainbow Colours.
