It was a bright thursday morning as buses were leaving the printing hub of West Africa, Somolu in dozens to link Ikorodu road, loaded with APC members in their various uniform attires.
The Executive Chairman, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu, had mobilized thousands of APC members from Somolu to welcome the leading and most popular governorship candidate in Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu of APC, to the ancient town of Ikorodu.
The mayor of Somolu Local Government arrived the Ipakodo area of Ikorodu West LCDA with his large entourage in the green radiant Ankara, gallantly. The praises of ‘Dullar’, ‘Mr Somolu’, ‘Equalright’, ‘Mr Koseleri’, rented the air as many party members left their seats to welcome the awards winning Chairman.
Dullar, who is also the Director of Local Governorship Affairs in the Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu Independent Campaign Organization (BOSICG), admonished the people of Somolu to get their Permanent Voters’ Card (PVC) which will enable them vote for all APC candidates at the poll on February 16 and March 2.
The arrival of Lagos APC governorship candidate, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and his amiable wife, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, to the campaign ground was greeted by various songs from the teaming crowd.
APC Lagos East Leader, Senator Anthony Adefuye, was at the campaign rally and he advocate for wide margins victory for APC at the poll. “APC’s victory for President Buhari, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Bayo Osinowo in Lagos East, Remi Tinubu in Lagos Central, Olamilakan Solomon Yayi in Lagos West and all APC candidates for House of Representatives and assembly”, the septuagenarian Senator said.
However, the eloquent speaking Mayor applauds the Engr. Abiodun Orekoya led BOSICG in Somolu as they go around Somolu to preach the gospel of APC’s Next Level. “We won’t relent in making sure the Engr. Orekoya led BOSICG succeed in making peace with members of the community and strengthen our relationship with printers, religious leaders, artisans, community leaders, youths and market people, to ensure APC come out victorious in all polling units in Somolu”, Dullar said.
