.SAYS GOVT WILL PAY MEDICAL BILLS OF ACCIDENT VICTIMS
Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, has visited Iworoko Ekiti where a trailer accident occurred.
Egbeyemi, who expressed shock on the incident, commiserated with the people of the town on the tragedy.
The Deputy Governor inspected the crashed articulated vehicle before heading to the palace of the Alaworoko to sympathise with the king and his chiefs.
Egbeyemi who expressed sadness on the incident said the State Government is grieving with Iworoko people on the tragedy.
Addressing the people after coming out of the Palace, he urged them to be calm and never involve in any act of violence in reaction to the incident.
While expressing condolence on the loss of the dead, Egbeyemi appealed for patience as government investigates the immediate and remote cause of the incident.
Speaking at Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH) where he visited the injured, Egbeyemi promised that government will pay the medical bills of the victims.
He also promised that the injured will receive the best treatment, urging medical personnel in the hospital to be diligent in giving them quality medical care.
