General Bajowa turns 78 years, urges Nigerians to vote Buhari again for The Next Level.

 

From London in united kingdom , a generous advice has come the way of all Nigerians as regards the 2019 election ; the advice was given by a retired military General , Birthday boy, and the Jagunmolu of Ikale Land, Gen.Prince Oluyemi Bajowa (Rtd).

General Bajowa who celebrated his 78th birthday in grand style gave the advice while addressing delegation of ‘ Nigerian people in the Diaspora’ who were on ground with their President to rejoice with the septuagenarian. Chief . Gen Oluyemi Bajowa is the patron of the Nigerian people in the Diaspora, London chapter, a forum formed by well meaning Nigerians in Diaspora which concern is the advancement of good governance in the home front.

In his remark on the occasion of his Birthday, Gen Bajowa thanked God for the gift of life , stressing that growing old is a matter of divine grace.

While baring his mind on the nascent democracy in Nigeria, the retired Army top brass said it is a good thing that democracy is budding in Nigeria , noting that the country has enjoyed uninterrupted constitutional democracy since 1999. He however regretted the fact that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP government that ruled Nigeria for 16 years plundered the nation to no end. He said the PDP only succeeded in gifting Nigeria unconscionable leaders whose stock in trade is self aggrandizement at the expense of peoples collective Commonwealth. Gen Bajowa maintained that at a time, Chief Obasanjo had a damning opinion about his vice, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar , describing him as corruption personified , thus stressing that candidate Atiku can not in anyway be compared to Buhari in terms of untainted integrity.

On the trending issue of President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term, Gen. Bajowa said he (Buhari) is the most suitable man for the job of the Nigerian President , stressing that for the country to successfully stamp out the hydra headed social malaise of corruption, “we will need Buhari once again.”

” Buhari has acquitted himself well in his fight against corruption; he is no doubt putting a check on the Boko haram insurgency and his social investment package for Nigerian youths is second to none,” Gen Bajowa enthused.

The Ojagbulegun of Ayeka kingdom urged Nigerians not to throw away their votes by voting for political mercenaries and politicians who will mortgage their future, noting that Buhari has a dependable antecedent of untainted integrity , unalloyed honesty and altruistic passion for engendering the Nigerian project.

As a matter of fact, Bajowa noted that he had worked with Buhari as a military officer and he can vouch for his integrity. ” I worked with him for four years , when i served as the Adjutant General of the Nigerian Army ,  so I know him very well ; I equally know all the Generals as a result of my appointments as the former Permanent Secretary Ministry of Defence, former Federal Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Industry and former federal permanent secretary, Federal Ministry of Science and Technology so I can tell you that Buhari has integrity , he has honesty and he is a persona who is sincerely passionate about the unity, progress and economic revival of Nigeria.”

Gen. Olu Bajowa , who is the convener of Legacy Forum, a platform for the actualization of Muhammadu Buhari’s second term, maintained that he and eminent Nigerians of like minds will work towards ensuring the overwhelming victory of President Buhari in the February 16th 2019 poll.

In his goodwill message to Nigerians as the year runs to an end, Bajowa said Nigerians should be steadfast in their prayers for the nation , noting that we all should see Nigeria as a big project that must neither falter nor fail.

The celebrant greeted specially the Bajowa Royal dynasty and wished them well as a new year approaches; Gen Bajowa also saluted all Ikale, Ilaje and Apoi royal fathers , while expressing his goodwill at Christmas to the people of Ikale Land.
