Ahead of the 2019 elections, the Director General of the Atiku Care Foundation, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas has been appointed Special Adviser on Youth & Support Groups by His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
The foundation lauds the appointment, describing it as a square plug in a square hole.
A statement signed by the spokesman of the Atiku Care Foundation DG, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, said that Amb Aliyu Bin Abbas, 34 holds a first degree and Masters in Political Science.
“He hails from Borno State and happily married to Zainab Adhama.
“Amb Aliyu is also the founder and DG of the Atiku Cares Foundation (ACF), a philanthropic platform of the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for humanitarian interventions to vulnerable persons and communities, promoting skilled labour acquisitions, treatment of communicable diseases in the North East zone and other impactable human capital development projects and bringing succor nationwide in Nigeria.
“Over the past five years, the Atiku Care Foundation has been involved in the countryside mobilization of various youths and groups by traversing the length and breadth of Nigeria and in the Diaspora; raising multi-cultural awareness, peace building and peace bonding as well as teaching religious tolerance and conflict resolution principles and methodologies,” it stated.
The statement said that Amb Bin Abbas’s appointment is expected to ginger and propel a continuous mass appeal followership campaign for the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as the next President of Nigeria in 2019.
