The event was declared open with an opening prayer by the executive chairman, ikosi-isheri LCDA, Hon. (Engr.) Abdulfatai Ayodele Oyesanya. Other dignitaries in attendance: the executive chairman, Agboyi-ketu LCDA, Hon. Mayor Dele Oshinowo; the chairperson, ikosi-isheri LCDA, Alhaja Chief Mrs Omolola Kudirat Oyesanya; chairman, Igbogbo Bayeku, Hon. Sesan Daisi; chairperson, Kosofe LGA, Alhaja Mosunmola Sofola; Vice chairman, ikosi-isheri LCDA, Princess, Bola Bada; Chief of staff to the DG, ICG, BOS, Hon. Rasheedat Omolola Essien; Alhaja Omobolanle Akinyemi; leader of the house, ikosi-isheri LCDA, Rt. Hon. Usman Ajibola Akanni and other lawmakers; the secretary to the local government, ikosi-isheri LCDA, Hon. Dolapo Bashiru and other exco members.
The eleven local governments in attendance: Kosofe LGA; Ikosi-isheri LCDA; Agboyi-ketu LCDA; Ikorodu Central; Ikorodu North LCDA; Ikorodu West; Igbogbo Bayeku LCDA; Ijede LCDA; Imota LCDA; Somolu LGA and Bariga LGA.
In his keynote address, the executive chairman, ikosi-isheri LCDA, Hon. Engr. Abdulfatai Ayodele Oyesanya urged all women to ensure that they obtain their PVC at the designated collection centres and disseminate the information to their husbands, relatives, all and sundry. He further stressed the need for all registered voters to check for their names at their respective polling units and notify INEC officials on duty if there is any omission.
Speaking in the same vein, other personalities also harped on the need to sell our governorship flag bearer, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu and other flag bearers to the general public. This will increase the APC chances in the 2019 general elections.
