The Peoples Democratic Party has condemned alleged invasion of its Ekiti State secretariat by persons suspected to be hoodlums.
The party said it would investigate the invasion with a view to exposing and sanctioning anyone found to be involved directly or indirectly in the disruption of the smooth running of its activities in the state.
A statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan, in Abuja on Thursday, said that the National Working Committee of the party reiterated its confidence in the Gboyega Oguntuase-led executive and asked its members in the state to avoid anyone fanning embers of discord in their fold.
He also called on the Police to assist in tracking and arresting the persons that invaded the secretariat, and to also secure the premises against further invasion.
