The VON-DG was an aspirant for the Enugu West Senatorial District ticket of the party for 2019. He however lost. He has accused Adams’s Osiomole of encouraging impunity as there were no elections in many places across the nation.
Yesterday protesters stormed the APC headquarters in Abuja asking Adams Oshiomole to resign over imposition of candidates by money bags and powerful party leaders. Many APC members have claimed that there was simply no election but selection all over the country.
Adams Oshiomole has come under heavy criticism within the party with APC members asking him to resign, calling him a cheat and a thief. The APC Chairman has however on his own part claimed it was mischief by some few people.
Even the wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, has come hard on the APC Chairman, criticizing the primaries in her state Adamawa State as a sham.
President Muhammadu Buhari has called on Adams Oshiomole to fix the problem.
