As part of his commitment to the success of the Peoples Democratic Party in the September 22 governorship election in Osun State, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi on Tuesday wooed bigwigs of Labour Party in the state and urged them to support PDP.
Addressing a joint meeting of his team and Labour Party’s bigwigs in Iwo local government of Osun, Ogunbiyi stressed that PDP was the viable alternative to the ruling All Progressive Congress.
He called on the supporters of the sister opposition party to throw their weight behind PDP so as to dislodge the ruling party and emancipate Osun people.
“We are all on the same page in our struggle to build Osun of our dream. However, the political reality on ground requires a strong coalition and unity of purpose.”
“PDP is the most viable alternative to APC. We have to come together to dislodge the ruling party and restore the hope of Osun people,” Ogunbiyi said.
