The Governing Council of the Council of Igbo States in America (CISA) is delighted to receive the news of the reappointment of our Chairman Board of Presidents, Onowu of Abagana Anambra State, Chief Dr. Nwachukwu Anakwenze to the Frontier Museum Board of Trustees by the Governor of Commonwealth of Virginia, Ralph S. Northam.

On behalf of the President of CISA, Nze Amadiebube Mbama and the entire membership of the Governing Council, It gives me great pleasure to extend our warmest congratulations to you Dr. Nwachukwu Anakwenze on your reappointment on the Frontier Museum Board of Trustees.   We are very proud of the historic significance of this reappointment.  This is a credit to your leadership, teamwork, productivity, dedication, and commitment to the promotion of the ideals of the museum and your inspiring representation of the African world on the museum board; which you have been demonstrating since CISA came on board in 2010.   You stirred CISA, ASA World and IWA with a call to responsibility and dedication to duty; and made earnest efforts to live up to that great hope and trust placed in you by Igbo people and the Frontier Museum with recorded accomplishments. CISA believes that your reappointment for another four years is in recognition of these magnificent efforts.

CISA is further aware of your impeccable record of service and your untiring efforts to better the lots of Igbo diaspora, Nigeria and Igbo Farm Village of the Frontier museum and have no doubt that the museum will achieve its goal of national recognition as it continues to excel in its mission of educating the public about the journeys and contributions of many immigrant groups of which the Igbo of Nigeria is a significant one

We in CISA also recognizes that the challenges facing those of you on the Board are enormous; however, we are confident that your experience, devotion, and love for people and what you do will come handy in restoring the balance between leadership, accountability and responsibility.

The Council of Igbo States in America is sure that your reappointment will continue to add more value to the service and future of the Museum, the West African people and the larger constituency which the museum serves.  Permit me also to use this forum to applaud the Governor of Virginia, His Excellency Ralph S. Northam for his confidence in our community, the entire family of CISA membership, and our esteemed Ohaneze President General Chief Nnia Nwodo for his continuing support for CISA as well as all our teeming fans who congregate annually at Igbo farm Village, Staunton, Virginia for our Igbo World Festival of Arts and Culture
