Former Governor Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja has condemned in strong term the act of demolition of the Music house which belong to Dr. Yinka Ayefele MON, in Ibadan on the wee hours of Sunday.
High Chief Ladoja wondered why government could not wait for legal action already taken by the owner of the building before pulling it down knowing fully well that the matter is before a court of competent jurisdiction and had been well served, Senator Ladoja, the Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland through his media aide Alhaji Lanre Latinwo also commended the maturity exhibited by Dr. Ayefele few hours after the demolition, pleading with the public not to take laws into their hands, the action Senator Ladoja described as that of a peace loving person.
“With that statement coming from this young man who had attained that enviable height even with his physical challenges and lost property worth about one billion naira means he is not a violent person.”
He urged him not to allow the government action to demoralise him as he still has a lot to attain in life.
