Osun Guber Poll: Our Strategy’ll be All-Embracing, Effective, Says Oyewumi, Adeleke Campaign DG

Director General (DG), Senator Ademola Adeleke Campaign Organisation, for September 22 governorship election in Osun State, Akogun Kamorudeen Olalere Oyewumi has said that the strategy his team would adopt would be all-embracing for effective exercise.

Oyewumi, who had headed similar team for the former Deputy Governor of the state, Senator Iyiola Omisore in 204, said his experience would come to bear in way his current Principal, Ademola Adeleke would be handled to achieve otal victory on September 22.

Speaking exclusively with The ParrotersSunday, the respectable politician however disclosed that, before going out in full force for the task ahead, the house should be put in order first to enhance unity of purpose among all the members and supporters of the party.

According to him, the task ahead calls for a united house to tackle, promising that, all hands must be brought on board without side-lining anybody to total success’

When asked about his plans on other registered political parties in the state, Oyewumi disclosed that, “all their members are my friends and we have been talking on daily basis,” assuring that, “all the relevant stakes holders would be contacted with a view to bringing them on board for the task ahead.”

The Campaign DG also revealed that plans are under way to incorporate all other civil society groups, rights activists, various professionals, social organisations and students bodies in the campaign team, asserting that, no stone would remain unturned to ensure landslide victory for Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke to become the next Governor of Osun State from November this year.

Akogun Oyewumi informed that, by this time next week, all arrangements would have been concluded over consultations with a view to kick-starting the massive campaign across the state.

The High Chief of Ikire, who exuded confidence of victory, however admitted that the task ahead is tough but surmountable.

Akogun Lere Oyewumi, an astute politician, educationist, philanthropist and community development specialist, was once the Chairman of Irewole Local Government on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a member of the House of Representatives in the third Republic. He later served as Federal Commissioner in the National Population Commission, Abuja.
