EKITIPANUPO issues statements on June 1st shooting

We received the news of the shooting at the APC rally in Ado Ekiti on Friday, 1st June 2018 with sadness and pains in our heart.

We hereby express our sympathy to the Ekiti state government, All People’s Congress (APC),  Barrister (Hon) Opeyemi Bamidele, other victims and all the families affected by the incident. We pray that our good Lord will heal them quickly and that such an incident will not happen again.

Going forward,July 14th,2018 gubernatorial election is a date with history in our State. As a group,we strongly advise all political parties,indigenes and residents of Ekiti state to be law abiding and conduct their campaigns and other activities peacefully such that the desired free,fair and transparent election will be achieved.

Campaigns in this season should be based on Ideology, Ideas, Past Records and Deliverables(Cardinal programmes).Ekiti has always been one happy,principled and homogeneous family. All efforts must be geared towards maintaining this uncommon & enviable reputation.
