DELTANS, particularly members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP heaved a sigh of relief when Chief Ighoyota Amori, Sunday declared that the former Governor of the state, Chief James Onanefe Ibori would return home before the end of December this year. Chief James Onanefe Ibori is presently serving jail term in the United Kingdom on allegation of money laundry. Amori who was speaking in Oghara during the 50th birthday celebration of the former Commissioner for Transport in the state, Mr Ben Igbakpa, said; “our leader, Chief James Onanefe Ibori will soon return to Oghara. “Chief James Onanefe Ibori will spend this year Christmas with us here,” urging the people to remain steadfast in their prayers for him. Insisting that “his coming is as certain as death, he said “we will all gather to give him a wonderful reception here in Oghara”. “And our lives will begin again once he returns back to the country, Amori said. The celebrant, Mr Ben Igbakpa while chatting with newsmen, expressed gratitude to God for His good works in his life. Igbakpa also thanked Chief James Onanefe Ibori and Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan for carrying him along in the scheme of things and for giving him the opportunity to serve in the government of Delta State. The celebrant who also a member of the State House of Assembly between 2007 and 2011, also thanked his wife and children for their support and prayers.
