Released Ekiti lawmaker admitted in hosipital in abuja,says he collapsed twice in Dss detention

According to VANGUARD newspaper,
the Ekiti Lawmaker who has been in detention at the Department of State Services facilities was released Tuesday evening and admitted at a private hospital in Abuja. 

The Lawmaker who was very weak and could barely speak when Vanguard visited him at the hospital kept repeating that “I am not well. I am sick. I am sick” when Vanguard sought to speak with him. 

Hon Akanni Afolabi who is on admission in a private hospital in Abuja was on drip when Vanguard visited the hospital. 

He said he was treated for malaria at the DSS detention facility after he collapsed two times. 

He said his release may not be unconnected with his deteriorating health situation, adding that he was not told by his gaolers why he was held.
