It was a moment of celebration when winners of Instagram makeup and photography competition, #irepkwara received their prizes at a presentation held in the Office of the Special Senior Assistant on Media and Communications, Dr. Femi Akorede, at theKwara State Government House Ilorin on Thursday.
Mr Olawale Omoniyi and Mr TomiwaOmotesho emerged winners in the photography category and won an ipad and iphone each. Speaking at the presentation, Dr. Femi Akorede,stated that the competition was aimed at showcasing the beauty of Kwara State and also at encouraging creativity through makeup and photography. He encouraged youths to explore their talents and to also participate in #irepkwara season 2 tagged, Faces and Places.
Speaking on behalf of other winners, MrOlawale thanked Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for the gifts and also appreciated the governor for providing a platform that for youths to showcase their talents. Rounding of the ceremony, Dr. Akorede stated #irepkwaraseason 2 tagged, Faces and Places hadcommenced and enjoined the winners to spread the word #irepkwara #facesandplaces.
