R. A. Ikeja, Lagos State.
The Bankers/Bloggers Conference, conceived by the Ultimate Communications, the parent body of the Best of Nollywood Awards, naijahottestgist.com and bestofnollywood.tv, is meant to bring together communication managers and image makers in Nigeria’s foremost financial institutions to confabulate with the major players in the social media circuit with the aim of ensuring a symbiotic relationship between the two parties.
The conference, which will serve as a platform for foremost bloggers to engage, interact and network with communication managers of banks in a convivial atmosphere, is scheduled to commence at 9am promptly and end by 2pm.
All Corporate Communication and Public Affairs managers of Nigeria’s financial institutions, selected head of media agencies and social media influencers and online media owners across the country would be present at the event.
The popular PR Consultant, Tokunbo Modupe is expected to dwell extensively on the topic, ‘WHAT DOES A BANKER WANT FROM A BLOGGER AND WHAT DOES A BLOGGER WANT FROM A BANK’.
Similarly, Managing Editor/CEO of the Eagle Online, Dotun Oladipo will speak on the same topic, but from a blogger point of view, while Kayode Akinyemi will address the topic, ‘HOW DOES A BANK OPERATE: WHAT A BLOGGER NEEDS TO KNOW WHEN DEALING WITH A PR DEPARTMENT.
Moreover, the President of Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks (ACAMB), Mrs. Lola Odedina is another potential speaker at the conference, while a famous writer, Toni Kan would be the moderator of the event.
