Arewa Community in South endorse Jonathan for re-election

Chances of President Goodluck Jonathan winning the March 28 general election, at least in the South received a boost as Arewa Community of over one million population under the aegis of Arewa Initiative for Peaceful Co-/existence in Southern Nigeria agree to endorse him and rally round his candidature in all the southern states of Nigeria.
The Arewa Community are leaving in peace and understanding with our brothers in Southern Nigeria for decades, therefore, we decide to show our solidarity and commitment toward ensuring the success of President Goodluck Jonathan’s candidature. His committed policy of peaceful co-existence and care to all the northerners since he joined politics is one of the best reason to support him.
Our determination is to ensure the success of President Jonathan 2nd term project, because of his solidarity and supports to all our people leaving in this place, He attended many of our problem within shortest notice, especially issues that are critically affecting our brothers in this region. He is a good and committed leader in terms of unity, political development, cohesion and peaceful co-existence among all northerners leaving in the southern country.
We are organizing the Solidarity and Endorsement Rally in Honour of Mr President under the leadership of our mentor, the former governor of Sokoto state, Attahiru Bafarawa who during his reign as governor of Sokoto state has successfully unite all northerners leaving in the South together with respect, dignity and sense of belonging as one family with genuine commitment for the uplifting of our people living far from home.
Therefore, we are appealing with one voice to all our brothers in the North to reciprocate the gesture done to us, by supporting President Jonathan’s candidature because of our ardent believe that, with 2nd opportunity, he will do more and bring succor to the yearning and aspiration of our citizens.
