Remi Sonaiya has several publications on linguistics and French language to her credit. She was named in 2008 an International Ambassador Scientist of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, and is also on the international faculty of Haggai Institute, a Christian leadership training organization, where she lectures on Stewardship. She contributes regularly to Nigerian media discourse and has recently taken an active interest in politics and leadership issues in her country. She is currently the Presidential Flagbearer for the KOWA Party, a body seeking to re-define the practice of politics in Nigeria.
