Former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Lagos State, Olasupo Sasore, SAN, has indicated his intention to succeed his former boss, Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, as governor of the state in 2015.
Sasore
Sasore was Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General during the first four years of Fashola’s administration between 2007 and 2011.
The former commissioner, an experienced lawyer has already collected his nomination and expression of interest forms from the state secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at ACME Road, Ogba.
Investigation revealed that the ratings of Sasore continues to soar especially with the public declaration of the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that he is not in support of any aspirant and that all aspirants will go through a level playing ground at the primary to pick the party’s candidate.
Further investigation revealed that Sasore’s rising rating was further boosted by what some political analysts said that he most qualified on all prequisites being put forward for the post.
“On the issue of religion, he is a committed Christian; academically, he is very sound, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) for that matter; and he is a complete Lagosian from the popular Sasore family of Iduntafa in Lagos Island,” sources told this medium.
