Hell was let loose recently at the ACME Road Ogba, Lagos State secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) when thugs allegedly working for the Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engineer Julius Oloro, attacked the party Vice Chairman for the Lagos West Senatorial District, Chief Funsho Ologunde.
Naijahottestgist learnt exclusively that the thugs led by one Hakeem Egbo, who many recognized as a close ally of the Ojodu LCDA boss, allegedly physically attacked the APC Vice Chairman while the Presonal Assistant to the party’s state Women Leader, Chief (Mrs.) Kemi Nelson was not spared.
The shameful event was the climax of the crisis rocking the Ojodu LCDA chapter of the party over the last ward and local government congresses.
Reacting to the incident, the leadership of the party set up a disciplinary committee headed by the state Vice Chairman for Lagos Central Senatorial District, Honourable Fouad Oki.
As at the time of writing this report, the party is still awaiting the report of the Oki committee with a view to giving out the appropriate punishment to those who might have been indicted in the fracas.
