Since venturing into acting barely two years ago, gentle-looking and unassuming Daniel Daniel has featured/starred in the movies “Ladies’ Men”, “Ladies’ Gang”/”Love and Sacrifice”, and award-winning epic (AMBO 4 Movie) “The Child” in which he played the heroic antagonistic role of Oviawe.
He appears to have become an instant producers’/directors’ delight. He played the unusual and rather difficult role of a gay “mistress” in the movie “Under”. Playing alongside Nigerian Big Brother Africa Star Nkenna, Daniel acted in “The Last Trigger” which also starred household names like Jim Iyke and Hanks Anuku. Concerning his act in “Under”, internet African Movie Reviewer and sharp critic TiLii says, “he acted well and natural in this role…, he could be versatile and we need to watch him closely cos he is about to climb this ladder fast….”
Daniel’s other films “Ivie” (an epic), “The Visitor” and “Away From Home” are yet to be released, but previews confirm that his ability to play even roles that are alien to his natural disposition is not in doubt. This new Nollywood sensation has also shown his readiness to dominate the terrain, with his parts in TV Soaps “My Treasure” showing on some local TV channels and Africa Magic, and “Spider”.
