Popular comedian KC BROWN declared wanted by police over COPYRIGHT FRAUD
Comedian Kingsley Oghwe AKA KC BROWN is presently on the run having being declared wanted by the Nigeria Police Special Fraud and Cyber crime Unit Milverton ikoyi lagos over copyright theft.
The warri born comedian was alleged to have fraudulently obtained broadcast materials from the studios of Alibi Tv in lekki Lagos and sold them to another Lagos based TV channel name witheld for an undisclosed amount of money said to be a six figure sum.
Ogwhe who was formally employed by AlibiTv as a comedy skit anchor got the raw footages in connivance with some other staff now in police custody at alibi tv studios, pirated it,and edited out the ALIBITV logo replacing it with his own Logo Brown Network TV (BNT) so as
to make it appear as if he is the rightful owner of the material.
KC BROWN described as a hustler who will do anything for money was said to have also collected millions of naira from another chinese broacasting firm and sold them the same pirated content.
